Tether is making a strategic push into the U.S. market with its new dollar-backed stablecoin, USA₮, designed to comply with the GENIUS Act's stringent regulatory requirements. The token, set to launch by year-end, will be issued by Anchorage Digital Bank with Cantor Fitzgerald as custodian. Former White House crypto adviser Bo Hines leads the initiative, emphasizing compliance and transparency to reinforce the dollar's dominance in digital assets.

Meanwhile, Circle is quietly scaling its USDC supply, signaling intensified competition in the stablecoin sector. Japan’s JPYC also aims for a ¥1 trillion milestone, highlighting global demand for regulated digital currencies. The GENIUS Act, signed in July, mandates liquid reserves and monthly disclosures, setting a new benchmark for stablecoin issuers.
